Quinta do Tedo's Ruby Finest Reserve offers generous dark fruit and spice, from the heart of the Douro Valley.
Porto Ruby Finest Reserve Quinta do Tedo
Nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley between Pinhão and Peso da Régua, Quinta do Tedo is a family estate renowned for the quality of its Portos and Douro wines. The vineyard, planted on steep schist slopes with ideal exposures and precise viticultural care, yields wines of concentration and freshness. Traditional fermentation, often in lagares, extracts colour, structure and aromatic intensity.
The Ruby Finest Reserve is crafted from a blend of traditional Douro varieties sourced from old vines. Aged for several years in vat to preserve the brightness of fruit and the depth of colour characteristic of the Ruby style.
On the nose, dark cherry, blackberry and plum emerge, accompanied by notes of preserved red fruits and a light spice. The palate is ample and generous, marked by fine fruit concentration, supported by supple tannins and balancing freshness. The finish lingers with the warmth of dark fruits.
An expressive and harmonious Porto, ideal at the close of a meal, paired with chocolate desserts, red fruits or blue cheese. Serve lightly chilled to appreciate its liveliness.
