Fruity and elegant, this 2023 Ladoix from Domaine d'Ardhuy reveals fine Burgundian finesse, blending crisp red fruits and spiced notes, with a supple, well-balanced palate.
Ladoix Les Combottes 2023 Domaine d'Ardhuy
From a particularly well-exposed climate at the edge of the Corton hillside, Ladoix Les Combottes 2023 highlights the precise expertise of Domaine d'Ardhuy, recognised for meticulous vinification and rigorous parcel work. On this mid-slope terroir composed of brown clays mixed with fractured limestone, Pinot Noir gains in finesse without losing depth.
The 2023 vintage offers expressive, bright fruit: aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry and peony, completed by a touch of sweet spices. The palate stands out for its supple texture, articulated around clear freshness and very fine-grained tannins. The register is more charming and immediate than that of neighbouring premiers crus, yet retains fine precision and a true mineral signature typical of Ladoix.
Wine style: gourmand, floral, elegant, with pure fruit and natural drinkability.
Food pairing and ageing: perfect with grilled poultry, fine charcuterie, white meats or soft-paste cheeses. Recommended ageing: 5 to 8 years.
