At this early hour as I write these lines, a radiant sun is rising over Burgundy beneath a crisp, cold azure sky.
I can only marvel at this horizon of vines slowly being won over by the light of a new vintage… There’s no doubt about it: a foretaste of the wonderful year 2026 ahead!
And to start the year off right, nothing beats a “Dry January” — well, almost…
Here, sobriety isn’t a 31-day challenge: it’s more of a philosophy… valid all year long.
Because wine and spirits are neither everyday consumer goods nor drinks like any other: they are products of pleasure, culture, and sharing… enlightened sharing!
That’s why we see our work as a path of discovery, from selection to learning and passing on knowledge.
Helping you understand, choose, and truly appreciate — that’s what drives us all year round. More than simply selling bottles, we love revealing what they hold, what they tell… and sometimes what they hide.
Sadly, the news reminds us that the farming world is going through a difficult time. Winemakers, like all farmers, work with the living, with seasons, and with the weather.
The vine, more than any other crop, teaches us that it takes time, patience, and deep respect for nature’s rhythm to bear fruit. That is also the reality we wish to defend and bring to light: unwavering support for our winemaker-farmers, in great vintages as in the most challenging ones.
At a time when certain flaws are sometimes elevated to virtues, we will continue to hold the line of our selection: a pair of ripped jeans isn’t the creation of a great couturier — it’s first and foremost trousers sold with a defect, already worn…
Just as letters tossed at random between lines will never form a readable text, the same goes for wine when terroir is lost behind artifice or stylistic effect. Each winemaker has their own handwriting, their own style, their own calligraphy — but their wines must remain legible, clean and true on the palate.
We seek neither perfection nor sanitized wines — quite the opposite! We strive to unearth and share with you the most natural wines possible, while preserving that clarity of terroir that must make sense.
An attachment to what is beautiful and good, to the common sense of the countryside, guides every choice we make.
And our shop windows are certainly the most visible expression of it (from the outside ): creative, poetic, close to nature and fine products, they reflect who we are and may well have encouraged you to step through our door… We design and build them ourselves, far from any commercial collaboration… See you throughout the year to discover our new creations — and if you’re not in Dijon, follow us on social media (click) to see them☝️
And of course, the foundation of our cellar — without which all of this would be in vain — is you, and your loyalty. Your visits, your conversations and your trust allow us to bring this vision to life: our freedom of tone and our independence.

New year means good resolutions — and for us, they’ll stay simple (and, we promise, achievable ):
to keep defending committed winemakers,
to remain demanding without taking ourselves too seriously,
to pass on, explain, guide — always — and above all… to keep sharing great moments!
Because 2026 will once again be a year full of encounters and conviviality.
Our tasting calendar, regularly updated, can be found on our website, with our monthly tasting evenings — now true, much-anticipated highlights — and also a few key dates not to be missed:
– Archives evening blending heritage, history and exceptional bottles at the Côte-d’Or Departmental Archives.
– September: the Trophée des Grands Crus de Bourgogne at the Golf de Norges — a sporty weekend combining gastronomy, art de vivre and great wines.
– Early December: Saint Nicholas week, dedicated to meeting winemakers, exchanging and discovering.
